Nostra Withdrawals Paused After $3.5M Oracle Exploit
Nostra paused lending, borrowing, withdrawals and liquidations after an NSTR oracle manipulation incident.
Crypto Support & Research Desk
Nostra’s Starknet money market was paused after an attacker manipulated the NSTR oracle price and borrowed roughly $3.5 million in assets against inflated collateral. Lending, borrowing, withdrawals and liquidations were disabled while balances are reconciled.
What users can and cannot do
A protocol pause can prevent legitimate users from withdrawing even when their wallet is functioning normally. Repeated wallet reconnects or higher gas settings will not bypass a contract-level pause. Wait for the protocol’s official recovery instructions.
What is known about the incident
Security reporting says the borrowed assets included ETH, STRK, USDC, USDT, WBTC and DAI. SlowMist reported that about $1.92 million had been bridged to Ethereum, while final losses and recoveries were still being determined.
Beware of fake recovery links
Nostra has warned that it will not direct-message users or ask them to connect wallets for recovery. During DeFi incidents, scammers frequently impersonate teams with “claim” or “compensation” pages. Do not sign unexpected approvals.
